Fitzy — honest outfit checks.

1. Who we are

Fitzy is operated by SM Apps (smapps.app). This policy explains what information Fitzy collects, how it is used and the choices you have. Questions: steve@smapps.app.

2. Information you give us

• Account details: your email address, username and password. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
• Photos you upload. Photos are re-encoded on our servers and location (EXIF) metadata is stripped.
• Comments, votes, follows and the groups you create or join.
• Reports and feedback you send us.

3. Information collected automatically

• Push notification device tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
• IP address and device and app information in server logs, kept for 14 days.
• Crash and error reports.
• App usage events. These are sent from our servers to Google Analytics 4 and linked to an internal user id, not your email.

4. How we use your information

We use this information to run Fitzy (your account, showing posts, counting votes, comments, groups and trending), to send push notifications and account emails such as verification and password reset, to moderate content and keep the community safe, to fix bugs and understand how the app is used, and to show ads.

5. Who can see your content

Public posts are visible to other Fitzy users. Posts shared to a group are visible to members of that group.

6. Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run Fitzy:

• Google Firebase: push notifications.
• Google Analytics: app usage analytics.
• Google AdMob: ads.
• OpenAI: uploaded photos are sent for automated content moderation.
• SendGrid: transactional email (verification, password reset).
• GoDaddy: hosting (USA).

We do not sell your personal data.

7. Ads

Fitzy shows ads from Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID to show and measure ads. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your Android device settings.

8. Security

Data is sent over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed and your session is protected with access tokens.

9. Retention

We keep your information until you delete your account. Server logs are deleted automatically after 14 days. See Account deletion for what is deleted and what may be kept.

10. Children

Fitzy is not for children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will delete it.

11. Your rights

You can access and correct your information in the app, and delete your account in Settings > Account > Delete account. You can also email steve@smapps.app to access, correct or delete your data.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Fitzy (the app and the website at smapps.app), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Fitzy. Our Privacy Policy (in the app under Settings > About > Legal, and at smapps.app/fitzy.php#privacy) explains how we collect and use your information.

2. Who can use Fitzy

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these Terms where you live. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens on your account.

3. Your content

You own the photos, comments and other content you post. By posting, you give Fitzy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, resize and distribute that content in order to run the service, for as long as it stays on Fitzy. Only post content you have the right to share, and only post photos of other people with their permission.

4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post or send content that:

• is sexually explicit, or sexualises minors in any way
• harasses, bullies, threatens or demeans anyone
• is hateful towards people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, sexual orientation or similar
• shows or promotes violence, self-harm or illegal activity
• is spam, a scam, or impersonates someone else
• infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy.

5. Moderation and reporting

Photos are checked automatically before they are shown, and content can be reported from any post. We review reports and may remove content, or suspend or ban accounts, that break these Terms, at our discretion and without notice. Repeated or serious violations lead to a permanent ban.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Fitzy. That includes trying to access other people's accounts, manipulating votes with fake or multiple accounts, scraping, overloading or reverse-engineering the service, or getting around a suspension or ban.

7. Ads

Fitzy shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Ad providers may use device identifiers to show and measure ads.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using Fitzy at any time. You can delete your account and content in Settings > Account > Delete account, or by following the steps at smapps.app/fitzy.php#delete-account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms.

9. No warranty

Fitzy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Votes and comments are other users' opinions, not advice. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that content will be kept.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Fitzy and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for content posted by other users, arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top. Continuing to use Fitzy after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

SM Apps has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on Fitzy. Any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers minors is prohibited.

• In-app reporting: every post can be reported from within the app.
• Automated moderation: uploaded images are checked automatically before they are shown.
• Enforcement: violating content is removed and the accounts responsible are banned.
• Reporting to authorities: we report CSAE to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as required by law.
• Age requirement: Fitzy is not for children under 13, and accounts found to belong to children under 13 are deleted.
